Client Account Manager – Placement Student Opportunity starting in summer 2010.
Job Summary 
  • Your main responsibility is to engage end user prospects in conversation over the phone to discuss their interest in our client’s product, service or event. This will involve calling into warm and cold prospects.
  • You have full responsibility for managing, delivering and nurturing client accounts through active involvement in the projects we are conducting, which includes face to face briefings, organising and leading conference call reviews and being the lead caller.
  • You will be responsible for constructing thorough and bespoke campaign reports at the end of each day’s activity and concluding campaigns with an end of campaign report. Reports constructed will include constructive client feedback with the aim of continual campaign delivery improvement
  • You are required to contribute to a clients data strategy & management by obtaining intelligence which provides clients with a competitive edge.
  • You will often to be asked to support other campaigns being managed by other members of the team.
 
Job Specifics
Hours of work 
Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 5:30pm (1 hr lunch, 2x 15 min breaks) 
Friday - 9:00am – 5:00pm – (1/2 hr lunch, 2 x 15 min breaks)
(You may be asked to work outside of your contracted hours in order to get work completed.)
 
Holiday
20 days paid holiday per annum (Jan – Dec)   
Suitable Courses - Business Studies (and similar course titles), Marketing, and IT.
 
Job ProspectsThis placement year is not an easy one, you will be asked to step outside of your comfort zone, think on your feet and utilise skills that perhaps do not come naturally to you. We now have over 4 years experience in employing placement year students, and believe that we provide you with an excellent grounding for a number of job roles. 
 
We would argue that this role is geared best to those interested in pursuing a career in sales, marketing, IT or customer service.
 
The placement students that have been employed previously now hold a variety of roles within some of the largest UK employers, including the likes of JP Morgan. One placement year student has gone on to become a security consultant within one of the brightest IT consultancy firms in the UK. We can’t guarantee you employment once you graduate, but we can give you something of note to put in your CV…..!   

What we are looking for:
·         In a candidate we look for versatility & adaptability. Prospects need to be able to digest theory and relay it in to practice efficiently.
·         Exceptional communication skills verbally and written.
·         Candidates need to be hungry to succeed and to learn. We work in a result driven environment, so individuals need to be autonomous and self sufficient with a good work ethic.
·         Presentable professionals that represent the business as well as our high-status clients in and out of the office
·         Previous experience in working in an office environment is desired but not essential. 
·         Knowledge of corporate IT network solutions is desired but not essential.
